At the invitation of the government of Bavaria of Germany, Pest of Hungary, and Ministry of Trade & Industry of Singapore, from October 23 to November 1, Ren Airong, Vice Governor of Shandong, led a delegation from Shandong to visit Germany, Hungary and Singapore.

During her visit to Germany, Ren Airong met with Minister of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection of Lower Saxon, Minister of State Chancellery and Federal, European and International Affairs of Bavaria, President of Hanns Seidel Stiftung(Foundation), attended the unveiling ceremony of the Hanover office of Sino-German Industrial Design Center, visited Deutsche Messe Hannover，Infineon，Munich Re，and visited Weyarn, a successful sample of Village Renewal, where she conferred the certificates of Ambassador of Friendship of Shandong Province to two friends from Hans Seidel Stiftung. During her visit to Hungary, Ren Airong met with governors of Pest and Borsod, visited Sino-Hungarian Borsod Economic Cooperation Area and the overseas warehouses of Central European Trade and Logistics Cooperation Zone, and attended the returning ceremony of the first Qilu Europe-Asia freight train. During her visit to Singapore, Ren Airong attended the 21st Meeting of the Singapore-Shandong Business Council, Jinan-Singapore Technology Innovatoin & Finance Seminar and the opening ceremony of Singapore Qingdao Festival, and visited institutions and companies like Jurong Innovation District, Urban Redevelopment Authority of Singapore, Wilmar International and Nanyang Technological University. The visits have effectively promoted the development of the sister province/state relationships between Shandong and Germany and Hungary, deepened practical cooperation among three countries in economy and trade, technology, agriculture and the chemical industry, established contact mechanism with related departments, institutions and enterprises, and dovetailed cooperation demands, thus elevating the level of practical cooperation.

During the visits, heads or representatives from Chinese embassies in Germany, Hungary and Singapore, and Chinese consulates general in Munich and Hamburg also attended related activities.
